"This land is harmony of nature and man, home of grape and wine for decades where in opinion of the olds the fire of volcanos has been burning.
Here is the Valley of the Volcanos where the ground and the sunshine, the surfaces of the lake and the mediterranen climate, the love and competence of men for the grape make the reparation of wunderfully harmonious, fiery and characteristic wines possible. But as much hills and valley as much tastes in the North-Western angle of the Balaton shore.
This wine-growing region is prohibition of the Roman emperor Probus and the Hungarian that chose this land for their home. It sheds its liquid gold year to year with unchanged faith, surviving the storms of the history. The cool, misterious cellars and the little villages of the hillside hide the "gold of the volcanos" and the further treasures that was left for us by will of the hundreds of years. According to the legend God created this land in his good mood.
The long since cold but also today graceful and dignified basalt cones are truly witnesses for the events of the millions of years. In the Western angle of the wine-growing region guarding line of volcanic hills are waiting for that the exhausted wanderer in his way to the castle of Szigliget stops to admire this fabulous angle of the Earth. Until the eyes reaches you can see the giant war of the nature the neverending battle that the elements has been fighting during the history of Earth. Nowadays hills and valleys, wine covered genlte slopes and the water of lake Balaton are living in harmony and ensure colourful environment for the tiring work of wine growing."

We are glad about our fathers and aware of the challanges of our times. We do not want to recall the past but revive the mentality in Szigliget that was recognized by the Family Eszterházy that times.
