Hilltop Winery Neszmély
City: NeszmélyHilltop Neszmély Ltd. is a fully Hungarian-owned model vineyard and wine producer. With more than 500 hectares under vine, all planted by ourselves in the last 9 years, we produce a full range of modern and innovative wines.
Our main markets are Great Britain (85%), Canada, Norway, Sweden, Poland (5%), and Hungary (10%). Our main costumers include the major UK supermarket chains and specialist wine retailers: Mark and Spencer, Tesco, Safeway, Waitrose, Asda, Sainsbury.
Our Sauvignon Blanc, the super-juicy Irsai Oliver and a comprehensive range of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and various indigenous varietals all provide proof that top quality Hungarian grapes can be turned into individual wines of international value.
Our Head Winemaker Ákos Kamocsay was chosen Winemaker of the Year in Hungary in 1999 and in the UK as well.
Our wines have won many awards and medals, including dozens silver and bronze medals and the title of White Wine of the Year at the International Wine Challenge, and are chosen by numerous wine journalists as outstanding values for money.
