First of all we would like to thank you for visiting the website of Beds N' Roses - Hostel & Guesthouse Budapest.
Instead of words, our pictures will tell you much more about the design, the passion we tried to put in when made this hostel and guesthouse.
What you will get in our hostel & guesthouse is:
- elegant, private and intimate atmosphere
- private rooms, a seasonally operated dorm, each of them with own separate bathroom (shower, basin, toilet)
- extraordinary, romantic pedestrian downtown location by the famous Budapest Opera House (take care of the phantom only :-)
- moderate prices beating down the hostel's competition in Budapest at this level for ensuite private rooms, unbeatable price-value ratio!
The more simple the things are in a hostel or guesthouse, the more perfect. Beds and roses only, . . . what more!?
Location
The guesthouse is situated right by the famous Budapest Opera House in the beginning of the world heritage listed Andrássy avenue. It’s a pedestrian zone where more fancy cafés, pubs, restaurants and entertainment place can be found. The famous Váci street or the Danube bank are at 3 min. trip by the yellow underground nearby or 7-10 min. by walk. Deák tér (connection point for all the metros) is 2 min. away by the underground or at 7 min. walk.
Where we are: - at 3 min. walk from the Operahouse, - at 7 min. from the Basilica, - at 10 min. walk from the Parlament, - at 10 min. walk from Váci str. and Danube bend, - at 7 min. walk from Deák tér (where the 3 metros meet), - at 6 min. walk from Oktogon and Liszt Ferenc squares, - at 10 min. walk from Nyugati(west railway station).
About the guesthouse inside
The hostel - guesthouse can be found on the first floor of a typical renovated Pest downtown building. We have few double, twin and 3-4 bed rooms, we operate a dorm seasonally too. All the rooms have separate own bathroom containing shower, basin and toilet. We have a well-equipped kitchen with cooking possibility and refrigerator at the hostel.
About the facilities surrounding the hostel
Beds N' Roses Hostel and Guesthouse Budapest is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, clubs, pubs, cafés, shops, but you can also find an internet café, money exchange, two banks, ATMs (cash machines), fast food restaurants (McDonald’s) within a short walk from the hostel. Close to Andrássy avenue or the not far Váci utca (str.) are famous boutiques and shopping streets as well. Parking is possible nearby. By the nearby underground stop, connecting to the other metros at the Deák tér stop, you can reach simply any main point of the city in max. 25 min. trip.

- Kitchen (Equipped with refrigerator, microwave, glasses, coffee & tee cups & spoons, plates, cooking devices)
- Luggage Storage (free of charge) and . . . beds, . . . the roses you bring . . .

- No curfew, no lockout, you will get your private key and come and go whenever you want 24 hours trough the day

- Parking possibility near the hostel (guarded parking righthand in the beginning of Zichy Jenő str. 9, at 40m after entering it from Bajcsi Zsilinsky str. at 50m from the hostel, check at www.ezpark.hu, ask for 24h pass: now (2009 Okt. update): 4,200HUF/24h ); Other parking possibility: on the street: free at the weekends ONLY(from Friday late evening to early Monday morning only, at weekdays you can stay only 2 hours and have to pay at the cash machine for that!) or cheap guarded paid parking in Akacfa str. 60 (address: 1073 Akacfa u. 60, website: www.a60.hu, e-mail: akacfa60@gpm.hu, phone: +36-70-3830-830, ask for 24h pass, with 2009 Oct. update: 1,900HUF/24h only), The parking places do NOT belong to our hostel, they are independant from us enterprizes and we can not take any responsibility for availbitily and change of prices accordingly!
- Currency exchange nearby the hostel (bank at Nagymező str./Zichy J. str corner, at 30m from the hostel)
- Market nearby the hostel (on Hajós str.: 30m lefthand after entering it from Zichy J. str.)
- Internet, bike rental, city tours nearby the hostel: please ask for these at the reception! You can prepay for the tours at the hostel! ( Yellow Zebra, on the back of the Operahouse, Lázár str. 16, at 150m walk from the hostel)
BREAKFAST: For the moment we do not provide this service but You can have a very cheap breakfast at Chagall cafe at the corner of our building for 2-3 eur/person.
