Lace House - Lace Museum

The Lace House is the cradle of the world-famous Halas lace that is a 100% hand-made needle -lace, produced with a thin-like-breath thread and with 60 different kind of stitches.
The lacemaking tradition in Kiskunhalas started in 1902 and our visitors can walk through the past to the present of the unique halas lace in our Lace Museum and also can have a share in lacemaking demonstration.
Lace Museum is open: every day between 9-12; 1p.m-5 p.m. (from 1st October to 31 March to 4 p.m.). Closed: on week-ends from January to March; 1st November, Easter and Christmas.
The Lace House is also suitable for meetings, conferences up to 100 persons.
