Have you ever wondered what life was like over five hundred years ago - Hungary's most glorious age - in the legendary court of Matthias Corvinus? Travel into the past and see with your own eyes what made Matthias a king! Explore Renaissance Hungary - the King awaits!
The permanent exhibition located in the heart of Budapest downtown, where you can see face to face, some of Europe's and Hungary's most famous historical figures, like Leonardo da Vinci, Janus Pannonius, Pál Kinizsi and last, but not least, the legendary King Matthias and Queen Beatrix.
The 30 figures have been made with a patented proccess, set in 5 different Renaissance scenes, based on: science and religion, arts, King Matthias's Court, the Black Army and music and love. The exhibition focuses on the Hungarian Renaissance life, as one of the most prominent time in our history. The exhibition is a perfect entertainment for all ages, from kindergarteners to elementary and highschoolers, to adults and retired persons.
In the case of group attendance, our adventurous, knowledgeable, young and friendly guides will escort you for free. Based on the group's age, we will guide everyone according to they interest and knowledge of the Renaissence centuries. For children and adults we like to show something from the past, something that will stay in they memory for a long time, something that glorify our history 550 year ago.
