Budapestbike is a fresh company that was started in 2005 by six young Hungarians, who have travelled a great bit and have experienced the positive sides of riding on 2 wheels in different terrains.
Our goal is to make sure, that those comming to us will be treated like friends - taking them to places they should not but might miss, to help with avoiding tourist traps while in Budapest, to point out where to go and what to see.
Our mission is to make Budapest a bit more "user-friendly".
Bike rental
Our fleet of bycicles consists of new Gepida Alboins (women's & men's).
Because of regular inspection, the bikes available for rent will always be in mint condition.
Bike rental prices:
6 hours: 2 000 HUF
1 day: 3 000 HUF
1 day and 6 hours: 4 000 HUF
2 day: 5 000 HUF
2 day and 6 hours: 6 000 HUF
3 or more days 2 500 HUF/day
Tandem rental prices:
1/2 day: 3 000 HUF
1 day: 5 000 HUF
1 and 6 hours: 7 000 HUF
2 day: 9 000 HUF
2 day and 6 hours: 11 000 HUF
3 or more days 4 000 HUF /day
Included: helmet, chain, lock and limited insurance as stated in the rental contract. On the Hungarian Railway's trains you must buy a ticket for your bike! This is a little amount, but if you don't have a ticket, it you can have big problems.
Euro is accepted at the daily exchange rate of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Hungarian National Bank).
Bike tours
Our principal is not to tour just around pattern tourist lines but to show the real face of Budapest/Hungary.
You can choose several tours in Budapest, as:

Starting from Wesselényi street, route: Dohány synagogue (the largest one in Europe), Andrássy blvd., Operahouse, Hõsök tere (Heroes sq.), City Park (here we can have picnic if weather allows), Bazilika (St. Stephen's Cathedral), Parliament, Margaret Island, Buda Castle, Wesselényi street. Tour is guided by professional tour guides. This program lasts around 3-4 hours, its price is 5.000 HUF/person, this price includes: the bike, lock and chain, helmet and professional tour guides.
Budapest geocache
The group gets geocache tasks (treasure hunting), certainly guided by guides to the proper location. All famous and interesting buildings, streets, squares are introduced on the way. You can have a delicious lunch on the way, so this program could last 4-5 hours. Its price is 5.000 HUF/person, this price includes: the bike, lock and chain, helmet and professional tour guides, plus 1.600 HUF/person for lunch (two courses) - if You require so.
Szentendre tour
Starting from Wesselényi street, the route is Dohány synagogue, Bajcsy-Zs. blvd., Margaret Island, Aquincum, Szentendre. This route goes all along the Danube, on bike routes. Program introduces the old town of Szentendre and Skanzen (museum village). You can have picnic or regular lunch in Szentendre. This is a full day program, its price is 5.000 HUF/person, includes the bike, lock and chain, helmet and professional tour guides.

Special Tour - Bath tours
As a special type of our Budapest bike tour we proudly present our brand new Budapest bath tour and Massage tour!
Both of the tours pass along all the beauties of Budapest, including several of our famous baths, as Szechenyi, Gellert, Lukacs, Palatinus and Rudas. You are familiarized with the history, architectural curiosities of the baths, as well as tasting thermal water.
As a final part of the tour You enter Szechenyi bath, have a great time there, trying all thermal waters, saunas and other services (if You choose Massage Tour You have a great relaxing massage there). After bathing You can have a great lunch at their fine dining restaurant.
Price of Budapest bath tour: 7.800 HUF that consists of a bike, helmet, map, at least one drink, lock and chain and includes a tour gide, bath entry ticket. Price of the tour does not include lunch!
Price of Massage tour: 10.800 HUF that consists of a bike, helmet, map, at least one drink, lock and chain and includes a tour gide, bath entry ticket and a relaxing massage. Price of the tour does not include lunch!
