One of the biggest indoor water theme parks in Europe offers unforgettable entertainment to visitors of every age throughout the year.
The adventure centre is covered by a giant dome, 5-storey high and of a diameter of 72 m. It is so big it could host comfortably a family of blue whales, the biggest animals on Earth.
The monumental replica Angkor temple surrounded by suspension bridges, towers and pools is a breath-taking sight. The world of the “serene statues” is a perfect counterpoint to the use of the most modern architectural and technical solutions, in line with the Aquaworld conception, to create a modern shrine of aquatic culture offering complex adventures to visitors.
Aquaworld is located on the northern outskirts of Budapest, at the Pest abutment of Megyeri Bridge, along the M0 ring, in a green area, yet close to the town centre. It has an outdoor car park with a capacity of more than 1000, easily accessible via the Aquaworld exit of the new Budapest M0 ring.
Funny Waters
Aqua-fun all year round
15 of the 17 pools of this unique water complex are open in every season.
The huge adventure pool pampers visitors with lying and sitting massage, neck shower, a mountain river and much more. The indoor pool is connected to a heated outdoor pool open throughout the year.
The wave pool and the surf pool, unique in Hungary, evoke the atmosphere of seaside holidays. The surf pool is big enough for competitions and it can be used with special boards developed for indoor use as well as with own boards.
There is a 25 m swimming pool and a 3 m diving tower designed for the sporty ones. The indoor kids’ pool has sectors of different depths and its many surprise attractions, including kids’ slides, will certainly fascinate the youngest.
Water Slides and Activities
All the way we go…
In the indoor adventure pool, 11 slides of a total length of almost 1 km guarantee adventure and entertainment throughout the year.
The slide tower next to the dome, the entry point of 6 giant slides, is accessible by glass lift or stairs. The bravest can take a breathtaking ride from as high as 17 m. The sliding elements are taken back to launch level by a conveyor-belt-type elevator system. There is also a wideslide big enough to accommodate three slides side by side; an onion slide offering a shorter but all the more intensive experience, and a 180 m mountain river flanked with steep rocks, designed expressly for the most adventuresome.
Sauna World
Physical and spiritual relaxation
The absolutely harmonious design of Sauna World, in the area underneath the mountain river, reflects a relaxing oriental atmosphere, and it has a capacity of 200.
Aromatic infusions in the room-temperature tepidarium (hot bath) with heated beds or in the steam and aroma cabins are a treat to the senses and have a cleaning and healing effect on the entire body.
The high-temperature Finnish sauna is complete with snow chamber, with ice flakes and icy water to ensure gradual cooling-down. In addition, visitors can purify their system in the highly popular infra saunas, or chose one of the specially designed bio-sauna, crystal or Russian saunas.
Hydrotherapy in the Kneipp basin is based on the principle of gentle impulses provoked by alternating exposure to hot and cold water, which has a beneficial effect on the human metabolism and boosts circulation.
Kid’s World
A treat to the entire family
The gigantic Aquapark has specially designed child-friendly spaces and offers highly enjoyable and safe aquatic experiences to the youngest.
Families with young children will love the kids’ world, in a separate wing from the dome area, with a pool of different depths, kids’ slides, a playhouse and a changing room. The kids’ event room is an excellent venue for birthday and other parties and events.
In the summer, there are further pools, playgrounds and playhouses open for the youngest in the park of Aquaworld, and they can watch the waterside fauna and flora from the bridge over the garden lake or the walkway leading to it.
Beach
Outdoor waterworld
In the summer, the indoor adventure centre is completed with an attractively landscaped lido offering further aquatic experiences and sports facilities.
Children can play in the kids’ pool or build sandcastles in the playground area, and adults can watch them comfortably from the nearby rest and sun chairs.
Swimming addicts will love the waveless pool, and the volley-ball and outdoor fitness sections offer excellent opportunities for individual or collective physical exercise. Visitors may recover after their adventure park experiences in the timber sauna, a rarity in Hungary, and appease their thirst and hunger in the grill pavilion.

By car:
From M0 highway take Dunakeszi-Dél Káposztásmegyer exit (from Pest exit 73) and at the roundabout take Bevásárlóközpont (Mall) exit and take the first possible exit lane (Íves street is situated on the left side) – follow the Aquaworld signs.
By public transport:
Take bus number 30 and get off at Hokomtövis iskola (Homoktövis school) bus-stop. Walk on the left side of the school along Tófalva Street till you reach Íves Street. The estimated journey time is 40 minutes.
